My little brother just got married and I got to do his wedding cake. Nicole had a cake she found online that we based mine off of with a few changes. The flowers on this cake were by far the hardest part! I hand crafted each one out of gum paste when I got to town a few days before the wedding. They were super fragile and in order to get a cake with 4 lilies I made ten! They just kept breaking! All in all I love how it turned out and I had lots of fun painting the swirls on the top and second tiers too. :-)
I cannot believe you made those flowers!! They look sooo real!!! You are soo talented girl!!! Way to go!!! Hope alls well with you guys out East:)
